Torre del Mare Architectural Park- Bergeggi - Casa Trotti (Galli)
Da Vedere
Construction: 1958-1959
Location: Via Torre d’Ere, 23, 17028 Bergeggi SV
Builder: Tizzoni
The "fifth" house to be built in Torre del Mare by Tizzoni based on Galvagni's design, it is developed on a single level and a twin villa was later constructed.
The floor plan features a rotation between the rooms of the living area and those of the sleeping area, and it is distinguished by characteristic cantilevered terraces plastered on the three main sides.
To reach the house, as is often seen, there is a staircase with a small gate on the left side of the building, corresponding to Via Torre d’Ere. Currently, the house is completely intact, including the garden and rooftop terrace pavements. The structure is similar to continuous masonry in exposed natural stone, with the attics made of reinforced brick and floors are made of polished river pebbles, whereas the exterior and interior plasters are of standard type.
The house includes a living-dining room, two bedrooms, an alcove, toilets, and a garage carved into the rock on the lower level.
The roof is designed as a walkable terrace.
