Torre del Mare Architectural Park - Bergeggi - Casa Ghezzi
Da Vedere
Construction: 1958-1959
Location: Via della Ginestra, 18, 17028 Bergeggi SV
Builder: Tizzoni
The house is situated on a steep slope and is developed over three residential levels with a retaining wall at the base.
Pedestrian access is from the top, descending to the various levels.
Originally, parts were clad in stone, but today, it is entirely white plastered.
The load-bearing masonry is made of semi-solid bricks with reinforced brick attics; the floors were instead intended to be Venetian-style mosaic, and the interior plasters of a standard type.
The exterior facades were clad in exposed stone and partially plastered with marble dust white.
The three terraced floors form a single apartment with three bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, and two toilets, one of which has bathroom fixtures according to the original design.
The roof features a usable terrace that can also serve as a parking space for one car, and the parapet is made of reinforced concrete.
